NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Dulce de Leche canned product is thick and delicious, but what are the recommended instructions on thinning it for my recipes?
Microwave:
Spoon the desired amount to be used as a drizzle/topping in a microwave-safe bowl. On high (100%) power, microwave for 10 seconds, then stir. If more time is needed, add 5 second increments, stirring each time. CAUTION: The Dulce de Leche will be very hot. DO NOT heat product in the can.
Stove Top:
Spoon the desired amount to be used as a drizzle/topping in a small pot. On medium heat, stir until the Dulce de Leche is thin enough to drizzle from a spoon. Remove from heat. CAUTION:The Dulce de Leche will be very hot. DO NOT heat product in can.
