A nice warm breakfast drink for cold winter mornings.

My mother used to make this recipe with oats instead of the masaharina, when I was a little girl, for us kids before school on cold winter mornings, we loved it. I have also made it for my own kids when they were little. It really brings back many fond memories. Substitute approx 1 cup of quick cooking oats for the masaharina. DELICIOUS!!!

This is a very good recipe. I've been serving it almost daily to my new boyfriend. Please let it be know that this recipe is also a Guatemalan recipe, not just Mexican.

This recipe is different, maybe because is more richer in taste. In addition, this is great.
