Baked Apple Chips with Dulce de Leche

Baked apple chips, much like the ones you buy in the store, are quite easy to make from scratch. And they hold for up to a week so these are perfect to pack in lunches. Dipping in dulce de leche makes them extra delicious.

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 200° F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

THINLY slice apples into 1/8-inch-thick slices. Place on prepared baking sheets in a single layer. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.

BAKE for 1 hour. Flip each apple slice over and continue baking for 1 additional hour. Turn oven off and allow apple slices to cool in oven for 1 hour.

SERVE apple chips with dulce de leche for dipping. Store leftover chips at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
