Chocolate and bananas are a wonderful combination. And when they are inside a warm empanada they are even better. These are very simple to make and your family will be thrilled with how they taste.

PREHEAT oven to 375° F. Line a large baking sheet with foil.

POUR 1 teaspoon of sweetened condensed milk in a line in center of each empanada disc. Add 8 morsels (about 1 teaspoon) on top of milk. Add 6 pieces of banana on either side of morsels. Carefully fold in half and crimp edges with fingers to seal. Place empanadas on prepared baking sheet; brush with beaten egg.

BAKE for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden. Serve warm and dusted with powdered sugar, if desired.
