Chocolate Jerk Chicken Wings

Jamaican jerk, with its many herbs and spices, could be considered the Mexican mole of the Caribbean. By adding NESTLÉ® ABUELITA™ to the recipe, two great culinary traditions unite in an intense explosion of flavor. Serve these to a hungry crowd during the big game, or as an appetizer to perk up those taste buds!

COMBINE Abuelita chocolate, thyme, sugar, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper, salt and allspice in a medium bowl. Add orange juice, soy sauce, vinegar, oil, adobo sauce and seasoning sauce; blend with a wire whisk until completely smooth.

PLACE chicken wings in a large airtight container. Pour marinade over chicken; toss to coat completely. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours.

PREHEAT oven to 400° F. Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

PLACE chicken wings on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes. Turn chicken wings over. Bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until tender and caramelized.

ALLOW wings to rest on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped cilantro and toasted sesame seeds.
