Directions

LINE baking sheet with wax paper.

MICROWAVE morsels and vegetable shortening in uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; STIR. The morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until melted; cool slightly.

DIP fruit about halfway into melted morsels; shake off excess. Place on prepared baking sheet; refrigerate until set.

FOR A FANCY DRIZZLE:
MICROWAVE
1/2 cup NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White or Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels or Baking Bars, broken into pieces in small, heavy-duty plastic bag on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; knead. Microwave at additional 10-to 15-second intervals, kneading until smooth. Cut tiny corner from bag; squeeze to drizzle over fruit. Refrigerate until set.

I made this recipe Saturday morning for a ladies group in the afternoon. It took more time than I thought but it was well worth it. I used strawberries and large blueberries. I dipped each blueberry alone, then put them in stacks of three to set. They were more popular than the strawberries.

Plan to do this with peanut butter pretzel bites too - love the chocolate covered ones you buy!

This is a great, easy recipe! It's delicious & looks so beautiful for a party!

Just made this for a party we had. Let's just say they did not last long! Glad I taste tested while I was making them! Super yummy!

AN EXCELLENT WAY TO IMPRESS AND SHOW OFF, WITHOUT SLAVING AWAWY IN THE KITCHEN.

I have done these numerous times and they always taste delicious! My parents love them. But I use WAX paper

I use dried fruit and it's great. We give it as gifts with our holiday cookies.
