- ●1 cup lowfat 2% milk, heated to 110° F
- ●1 packet (0.25 ounce) active dry yeast

- ●4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for kneading

- ●1/8 teaspoon salt
- ●1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted, cooled to room temperature

- ●3/4 cup NESTLÉ LA LECHERA Dulce de Leche
- ●1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ●2/3 cup chopped pecans
- ●1/4 cup sweetened flaked coconut
- ●1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, plus more for greasing
- ●2 cups powdered sugar
- ●2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- ●1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ●1 tablespoon lowfat 2% milk
Make It
Step 1
Place warm milk in a medium bowl. Add yeast and 2 teaspoons granulated sugar; gently stir. Set aside for 10 minutes or until yeast begins to foam.
Step 2
Place 4 cups flour in a large bowl. Make a well in the flour; add eggs, yeast mixture, ½ cup granulated sugar and salt. Mix with hands or a large spatula; add melted butter and continue kneading. Dough will be sticky.
Step 3
Sprinkle a handful of flour evenly on a working surface. Place dough on surface and continue kneading until dough is smooth and not sticky. Shape into a ball.
Step 4
Grease large bowl with oil; place dough in bowl. Cover with plastic wrap; let rise for 90 minutes or until dough doubles in size.
Step 5
Sprinkle flour on working surface. Transfer dough to working surface and knead gently; roll with rolling pin into a 20 x 10-inch rectangle.
Step 6
Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking dish with butter.
Step 7
Spread NESTLÉ LA LECHERA Dulce de Leche on dough rectangle, leaving a 1-inch border. Sprinkle with cinnamon, pecans and coconut. Chop ¼ cup butter in small pieces; arrange evenly over filling.
Step 8
Roll the dough tightly starting on the long side. Seal seam by brushing edge with water and pressing to close. Slice into 14 pieces. Arrange pieces in prepared baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap; let rolls rise for 30 minutes.
Step 9
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 10
Whisk together powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons butter and vanilla extract in a medium bowl. Stir in 1 tablespoon milk until mixture thickens.
Step 11
Spread glaze over rolls. Top with additional chopped pecans and coconut, if desired. Serve warm.
