I loved this dish. I'm from Mississippi, so I eat a lot of grits and was anxious to try this. I made it for Sunday dinner and it was great. My husband doesn't really like grits, but he also loved this dish. I will make this a lot. I omitted the hot pepper sauce, but that was the only change I made to this recipe. It is perfect the way it is.

I tried this a couple of weekends ago for my family. It has turned into a family favorite now. I add extra sharp cheddar cheese (only because that is what we love) and it is WONDERFUL! Thanks for the new Sunday morning family tradition :)

The hearty dish is complete w/homemade biscuits or toast and jam. My children who are not big fans of "grits" absolutely love this and so do I. Each time I make it, I substitute different types of cheese for a variety. I also use ground turkey sausage. It's reminiscent of those down home breakfasts with Grandma....

I had an Adult slumber party ( Ladies Only ) and the next morning we had this.. It was GREAT & Easy, There was 16 of us and plenty to go around. A nice finish to a quality time spent with friends. It is a KEEPER.. Thanks

SATURDAY MORNING,I DOWNLOAD IT, THIS RECIPE, I HAD SOME SPECIAL VISITORS, AND IT WAS A HIT. WE ALL LOVED IT.THANK YOU.

My whole family loved this recipe, which I made as the main dish for a relaxing week-end breakfast. And my husband doesn't even like grits! Very flavorful, hearty and satisfying. Easy to prepare, too. Just add a side dish of fruit and you have a great brunch.

This was very good even though I omitted the garlic and hot sauce. We'll put it this way it didn't last long. I'll have to double the recipe next time.
