Directions

PLACE Outshine bars in a large bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds. Discard sticks.

PLACE apple juice, nectar, melted Outshine bars, apple, guavas, raisins, prunes and cinnamon sticks in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; cook for 15 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks before serving. Serve hot with fruit.

Tip: If tamarind nectar is not available, replace with 3/4 cup tamarind pulp and 1 1/4 cups water.
