COMBINA el agua, los frijoles con su jugo, la leche de coco, la cebolla, el ajo, el caldo, las ramas de tomillo y la mantequilla en una olla grande. Déjalo hervir. Añade el arroz y deja que hierva de nuevo.

REDUCE el fuego a bajo. Pon el chile encima del arroz. Tapa la olla y cocina de 20 a 25 minutos o hasta que el arroz esté tierno y casi todo el líquido se evapore.

SACA el tomillo y el chile antes de servir. Sazónalo con el tomillo picado.
