One sip of this creamy, refreshing drink transports you to the tropics. Mamey sapote is a sweet, salmon-colored tropical fruit native to Mexico and Central America and grown in Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, South America, and Florida, U.S.A. Also known as mamey colorado, it’s high in potassium, vitamins A and C, and dietary fiber. While fresh mamey is not widely available in the United States, frozen puréed mamey is often sold in Latin American markets.

If you do not worry about calories, you can make this delicius shake with evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk, no sugar. yum, yum

It took me a while to find the frozen mamey sapote but once I did find it and could bring it home it was so worth the wait. I am looking forward to making this this summer!

I really like fruit shakes but mamey shake is the one i enjoy and crave more i highly recommended specailly in hot summer days

I am pregnant, and can't enjoy my pina colada drinks anymore, but i thought to try this tropical smoothie! This is one creation worth trying, it dealt with my craving for something tropic without intoxication to the baby... Honestly this drink is intoxicating with its taste and aroma, i will be drinking this from now on, and it tastes great with mango, coconut milk and a little umbrella in its glass tops its off perfectly..

I thought this was good, especially on hot summer days. It was a good pick me up

When your hot and sticky and need to cool down here's just the way. Sit back and enjoy a cool shake while you cool down in the shade. This is the best way to enjoy your summer and a fresh drink anytime.
