I have tried several recipes and this is by far our favorite. Always turns out great and everyone always wants more.

I was looking for a recipe for clam chowder that my 18 year old non-meat eating son and the rest of my family would enjoy. This is wonderful! I used a vegetarian bacon substitute and it still had great flavor and added just the right touch. Everyone was happy with this delicious chowder, even with "fake" bacon. My mom thought I had slaved in the kitchen all day when I brought her a bowl. She is one of the best and most discriminating cooks I know, so if a recipe can impress her, you know you have a winner!

I used more carrots and onions (my husband does not care for celery) and while the soup had more of an orange 'glow' than chowder usually has, it was delicious and tempted even my three-year old!

This soup is so easy to make. The bacon really adds to the favor. Now I have a perfect, tasty soup for winter!

This was a great recipe for a yummy quick clam chowder. I will be using this one from now on. Even the 7 year old loved it!!

We enjoyed this. I added shrimp and the pepper must be freshly ground to have the best flavor.

This is a very easy recipe. It is the best chowder I have ever tasted. Very rich and creamy. I always bought canned chowder because the recipes I had used were watery or separated. Your recipe is the best ever!!
