I've been using this recipe for years. I will use half butter

I have been making these for years and we all love them, so easy and so delicious. I try to always have the ingredients on hand as you never know when the mood will strike for one of the cookies !

I have revised this recipe by adding the juice of an orange as well as vanilla extract. I also add white chocolate chips and toasted, chopped pecans, and it makes for that perfect sweet and salty harmony that everyone craves. Anytime I make these, they disappear fast and have requests to make them again and again!

These cookies are the most marvelous and incredibly magnificent cookies I ever did see!!!! ^_^

These are by far one of the best cookies I have ever made. I made them for Cake Day at the end of my basketball season where everyone brings in a dessert for a party, and when I brought these people were hesitant to eat them because of appearance, but I influenced them to taste them and they were gone just like that.

I love this recipe. I made them for my family and they just loved them. So much, that they get asked for all the time. My mom even calls up saying I owe her a batch!

As a volunteer, I bake cookies to be shipped to military personnel fighting in harms way. Oatmeal Scotchies taste wonderful and stand up to being shippied over seas.
