COMBINE pumpkin, apple, apple juice, sugar and pumpkin pie spice in medium, heavy-duty saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with buttermilk biscuits, breads, corn muffins or hot cereal. Store in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 2 months.

I am a member of juicy juice bunch and this is a great recipe that everyone seems to love even the kids and with the pumpkin flavor it is a great Thanksgiving day side.


Easy to make and so delicious. I tried it in the crockpot as suggested by the previous baker and she is right... it's good!


I have been searching for a couple of years now for a pumpkin butter recipe. I figured it had to be easy. Now I've found it and can share it with friends and family. It's not overly sweet and retains its pumpkin flavor. Thank you!


This is a great recipe! I made it for the Child Care children here at my house, not only provides a full serving of fruit/Vegetable for snack it is wonder full to dip apples or wheat thins in. Children love it and so do I for that matter. I will also be making this to go along with my fruit and bread tray for Easter.


This is so easy to make and it's delicious. I'll have to double the recipe next time! My family wiped it out.
