My mother made all of her chowders and creamed onions with evaporated milk. It was handed down to me and I handed it down to my daughter. It is so good.
I love tomato soup and evaporated milk has made it sooo much better. Can't eat it any other way anymore. Would give more stars if I could this is truly a 10 or better.
Makes a super delicious creamy soup.
YUM much better than just adding water and also better than just milk--and the kids loved it asked if I made homemade soup
I made this last night for supper and my husband said this was the best I ever made.He ate till he couldn't eat anymore. This is a winner.
My grandaughter has been making her own tomato soup when she comes home from school. One day, I had it already made for her. I used Carnation evaporated milk and she thought that it was so much better. We use Carnation all of the time now.
I have been doing this for years! Funny to see it here listed as a recipe. Nothing is easier to make than this. Makes canned soup seem special. Great in winter. ENJOY!
