I always use evaporated milk in my mash potatoes, along with salt, pepper to taste. never any left overs. I have never swapped out the reg milk in instant potatoes but will give that a try
My mother always made mashed potatoes this way. I have not made them in a while, but will do it again.
This is a nice change to the classic mashed potato recipe!
This is a very simple change from the box instructions, but it makes a BIG difference even when using the fat-free evap milk.
Substitute sweet potatoes.
My grandkids can tell the difference when I don't use Carnation in my potatoes. They love the potatoes done this way!!!
These are easy and good. Sometimes I add a little cream Cheese and less milk. It changes the taste a little. But good.
