Sweeten evaporated milk with powdered sugar and a touch of vanilla before whipping it into a foamy topping for cocoa, pie or fresh fruit. A bit of gelatin will give it staying power for a beautiful presentation.

I love this cool whip recipe. it was delicious and everyone liked it.It tastes like it came from the store.DELICIOUS!!!

I prefer using evaporated milk while cooking gravies and cream soups. Whipping cream is my first choice and cool whip as my second choice for desserts. Would use the other if I had no other choices.

I never knew Evaporated Milk would make a Topping that tasted so good. I used it to top Mississippi Mud Pie and it was a hit with my family who weren't aware how the topping was made.

I like making this topping because I know it's fresh. It's fast and easy to make. I also like to add food coloring when I'm topping different things. I use the paste coloring.

I have made this whipped topping many times before. This is so creamy and delicious. I never would have thought to put it on oatmeal, but I am headed to the kitchen now to do just that!

Tried it tonight on a quicky dessert, really had my doubts, but it was FABULOUS - just make sure the bowl and beaters are super cold

This is something I've done since I was a teenger. It's especially good with blueberries.
