The deep, rich, dark chocolate brownie is accented with white vanilla chips in this recipe -- a tempting taste combination.

PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease 9-inch-square baking pan.

COMBINE flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Beat sugar, butter and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl. Add eggs, one at time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in 1 1/2 cups morsels. Spread into prepared pan.

BAKE for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out slightly sticky. Cool in pan on wire rack (brownies will sink in center when cooled).

MICROWAVE remaining morsels in heavy-duty plastic bag on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 30 to 45 seconds; knead. If necessary, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, kneading until melted. Cut tiny corner from bag; squeeze to drizzle over brownies. Refrigerate for 5 minutes. Cut into squares.

I must say I will never prepare this recipe again. I did not care for the consistency of the "brownies" even though I followed the measurements carefully. It was like super-buttery cake with the chips all on the bottom. Most Nestle recipes are awesome. This one is not.

I love this recipe - very easy to make! I added in some chopped walnuts and even some semi-sweet chips to kick it up a notch. It was delicious!

I really liked this recipe as did my husband. I added the drizzle as instructed then put in refrigerator but when I tried to cut them later all of the drizzle fell off. That was fine though as we loved them anyway as they were not too sweet then!

These was so easy to make and sooo very good taste.Imake this for my family and they just love it.They said that it was perfect and it better with white chip in it than all chocolate.I definatey will make this again and again.

for those of you who thought this was average, why not use the white chips with your favorite Brownie mix instead of making from scratch. The white chips are a WONDERFUL change.

I love these brownies. My husband loves them, I'm making them again for my neighbor. They are so rich and not cakey like other homemade brownies. I also mixed some semi-sweet chips in too!

Ok, so I was surprised to read the reviews that said this was the best brownie some have ever had. Mine came out perfectly fine, but I think I prefer more of a fudgy brownie. These are a very cakelike brownie and certainly NOT the best I have ever had. Like someone else said, they were average, and I am an avid baker. I love trying new recipes, and I value reviews! I just don't think I would add these brownies to my "keeper" file. I do like the white chips inside..nice touch instead of all chocolate.
