Make sure to allow time to prepare this iced Cuban coffee. It “brews” overnight. It's made extra delicious by sweetening with sweetened condensed milk.

Iced Cuban Coffee is an invigorating beverage that provides the perfect blend of richness and sweetness. With roots in Cuban tradition, this recipe from Official LA LECHERA® emphasizes simplicity and flavor. The cuban iced coffee begins with a base of high-quality coffee that is cold brewed to perfection overnight, ensuring it captures all the robust notes and smooth character desired.

One of the highlights is the cuban coffee with condensed milk, utilizing NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk, which adds a creamy sweetness that complements the coffee's bold flavors. As the sweetness of the cuban coffee with sweetened condensed milk mingles with the coffee's rich profile, every sip becomes a delightful moment.

For those wondering how to make a cuban colada, this iced version is straightforward but rewarding. Just pour the coffee over ice cubes and add in the sweetened condensed milk, adjusting to your taste preference. Optionally, a splash of lowfat milk can be included for a lighter texture.

This iced cubano is not only easy but also ideal for any occasion, whether you want to cool down on a hot day or need a refreshing pick-me-up. Tagged under Easy Recipes and perfect for occasions and holidays, this iced cuban coffee provides a taste of Cuba with minimal effort. Enjoy the comforting flavors of this cuban coffee recipe with sweetened condensed milk and bring a bit of Latin American flair to your coffee routine.

Ingredients

Step 1

Place coffee in large container; add water and stir to combine. Cover and allow to “brew” overnight. Using a fine mesh strainer, strain mixture into a large pitcher. Discard coffee grinds. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. To serve, squeeze 1 to 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk in each glass. Fill with ice; top off with coffee. Stir. Stir in milk.

Cook’s Tip

If you don’t have a fine mesh strainer, place a coffee filter in your strainer and pour coffee mixture through that. As well, don’t forget that coffee grounds should not be put in the garbage disposal. Place them in the trash instead.
