While pound cake is named after the original weight of its ingredients—a pound each of flour, butter, sugar, and eggs—most modern recipes do not follow these measurements. Traditionally baked in a loaf pan, this tender, fine-textured cake has many flavor variations, including lemon, orange, and coconut. This delectable version is scented with mace and topped with chopped nuts. For a special touch, dust the top with powdered sugar just before serving.

Golden Pound Cake is a timeless dessert that embodies the essence of indulgence and tradition. This mouth-watering treat, from the kitchen of CARNATION® MILKS, infuses a classic evaporated milk cake with a unique twist. Baked to perfection, this golden pound cake boasts an aromatic blend of mace and a delightful garnish of chopped nuts, making each bite an experience to savor.

The recipe skillfully incorporates NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk, which lends an extra layer of richness and a beautifully tender crumb. This easy-to-follow recipe is ideal for Mother's Day, adding a sweet touch to any occasion or holiday. Just before serving, a light dusting of powdered sugar graces the top, enhancing its already sublime flavor and giving it a touch of elegance.

Whether you're a novice baker or an experienced chef, this golden pound cake is a perfect, easy recipe for any dessert lover.
